His wife died less than 3 months ago. They were amazing people and we were verey sad. A friend sent me an excellent white wine from Paris the week before. My wife and I opened it to celebrate their lives!<br /><br />Dr. Rupert owned some of the biggest wine brands in South Africa and has made an enormous contribution to the developments of brands.<br /><br />My colleague Simphiwe and I have created some wonderful labels and we hope that in time these will become strong brands. Next was the nose and then the palate.<br /><br />He first tasted a lightly wooded chardonnay and did smell some peaches and vanilla. Then it was a blended red and he tasted chocolate according to him.<br /><br />Yesterday we had a sauvignon blanc and it was particularly grassy. He nodded approval.
